Paris (Balenciaga), chic sells!

The ads are very good. Mlle Gainsbourg epitomizes the idea of timeless Paris chic perfectly.

As to the perfume itself, well… they say it’s a violet, but it's rather pink pepper in the style of Elle (YSL) which gradually mutates into a sweet white musk with a shade of sandal. All synthetic. For the real violet try  Cuir Pleine Fleur (Heeley).

Seems that with the advertisement campaign Paris smells much better than without.
